Messy Mutts

Wanting the best for our furry friends is much like taking care of ourselves, it starts with what you put into your body. That is why, several years ago, we switched all of our pups over to a raw diet, and then began the adventure of trying to make as little of a mess when feeding as possible. There are surprisingly few options when it comes to dog bowls with lids, but I found these bowls that are absolutely amazing!

I was curious the one day and wondered exactly how spill proof these bowls were, so I filled one with water, put its rubber lid on, and started to tip it. I found out that I could tip the bowl all the way upside down without it spilling a drop of water or the lid coming off! They come in a variety of sizes, with four different lid colours (three from the above link) so you can sort them for your puppers.

If you are like me and can't see the colours of the lids, I got some simple rings and tags that allow me to identify the lids by their tactile tag. The rings are easily removable, while a little stiff at first, and the tags come in a pack of twenty with several different shapes.
