Thank you so much for Viziting! Here I discuss tips, tools, and products related to living with a visual impairment. Some of those tools include things to assist with pet ownership because, like me, lots of visually impaired people have Guidedogs and/or pets. Having tips and tools to make our furry friend's lives easier or more enjoyable are important too.
As a side note, all of my pages include a neat new feature that I have implemented. If you are blind, low vision, or sighted and want to see what I'm talking about, click on the banner at the top of any page to get a description of what that page actually looks like. Even though screen readers don't recognize text colour, background colours, fancy borders, and many other attributes of a beautiful webpage, that doesn't mean screen reader users don't want to "see" them!
If you ever have a question or suggestion for a blog post, please don't hesitate to send me an email. If you are curious what motivates my blog and business, learn more about me here. Also please be aware that this blog uses affiliate links, you can learn more about them in my disclaimer. If you would like to dive in at the very beginning, start with my blog post on these stairs that seriously made my life and the life of my doggos much easier. Happy browsing!
Design Matters, Do It Right!

So many of the websites that I visit have simple things that could have been done properly to make the website 95% accessible for screen readers. In Design Matters, I will discuss everything from the simple design methods to make a website accessible, to the complex and often confusing do's and don'ts of accessible website design.
For the Fur Babies

Our furry friends make up quite a substantial portion of our lives. Especially when you are a Guidedog owner like I am, you may find yourself looking for things to make owning a fur baby a bit easier. For this reason, I have dedicated my sub blog for Fur Babies to tips and tools I have learned and found over the years for pet ownership as a visually impaired person.
And the "See"vey Says...

There are some products that I've discovered over the years, whether I was searching or stumbled upon it, that I feel are worth reviewing. Let me tell you what the "See"vey says for all of those products that aren't necessarily technology and aren't pet related, but interesting none-the-less.
Techtastic or Techtastrophe

Technology is such a growing area of all of our lives, especially if you live with a disability. In this Tech sub blog, I discuss the success, failure, and funny stories relating to technology I use.
